Summary

The Grounds keeper supports the maintenance team in maintaining the facility, equipment, and grounds in a safe, clean, and functional condition. This position assists with routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, and general upkeep of the property.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and common areas to identify maintenance or safety concerns
  • Assist with general building maintenance, including painting, sanding, and minor repairs
  • Remove snow and apply salt to sidewalks and parking areas during inclement weather
  • Perform landscaping duties such as mowing, trimming, weeding, and planting
  • Assist with preventative maintenance tasks and basic equipment upkeep
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Work collaboratively with team members and staff in a professional manner
  • Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on operational needs
