Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking a Senior Associate, Order Management to support our Department of Defense (DoD) business based in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will manage the processing of quotes and sales orders, ensuring compliance with export regulations and pricing policies. This role collaborates with customers and the L3Harris Sales Team to meet delivery and contract requirements and interprets government contracts and purchase orders for accurate sales order translation. The candidate will review Terms and Conditions (Ts&Cs) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses to ensure legal compliance across quality, payment terms, pricing, delivery, and packaging. They will also work closely with internal departments to ensure orders are processed accurately and mitigate risks of shipment delays due to incomplete order requirements. Administrative duties include managing customer communications and document control on network drives.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide accurate and timely quotes/responses/proformas to RFQs. Review all quotes for accuracy, pricing, and lead time.
  • Assist program management on large RFQ's/proposal efforts.
  • Pre-order: Obtain delivery quotes from the factory, enter prospects into the CRM system and maintain equipment configuration/quantity in the CRM system.
  • Book orders into the Oracle ERP system accurately and in a timely fashion to drive the demand for product and the fulfillment of program requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of order bookings to ensure that all financial transactions related to this activity have the traceability required to support quarterly financial audits.
  • Ensure that Operations can fulfill DPAS/government rated orders on time and communicate any delays to the customer.
  • Ensure that Operations and Security can properly ship Type-1 equipment without delays.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience

  • Experience with CRM and Oracle a plus
  • Customer Service skills and experience
  • Experience with Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Strong written, oral, and organizational skills
  • Works well within a team and with multiple teams simultaneously

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $48,000 - $89,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
