Title: Google Cloud Platform Lead & Google Cloud Platform Architect

Location: 2-3 days a week in office in Wilton, CT

Contract length : 1+ year

Required start date: ASAP

Level: Intermediate

Work authorization status: W2 only

Description:

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive cloud architecture solutions for infrastructure and applications in Google Cloud Platform
  • Create and maintain reference architectures, guiding principles, and solution building blocks for enterprise cloud adoption
  • Define technology standards and future state roadmaps for cloud services and programmable infrastructure
  • Ensure security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions through proper design and implementation
  • Lead architectural decisions for Google Cloud Platform implementations while communicating impacts to stakeholders
  • Develop proof-of-concepts and position papers to drive technological improvements and innovation

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience as a Cloud Platform & Product Architect with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform environments
  • Proven experience setting up enterprise-level account structures and security models in Google Cloud
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-based delivery models, PaaS offerings, and data integration patterns
  • Experience applying engineering and coding skills in agile environments with DevOps practices
  • Familiarity with IT architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF) and service management processes (ITIL)
  • Demonstrated ability to create technical roadmaps and drive architectural decisions at enterprise scale
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Must be able to work onsite at client's office in San Jose 2-3 days a week
