At Great American, we value and recognize the benefits derived when people with different backgrounds and experiences work together to achieve business results. Our goal is to create a workplace where all employees feel included, empowered, and enabled to perform at their best.
The Customer Insights & Analytics team is seeking a Digital Analytics Analyst to support customer-focused initiatives across the organization. This is a mid-level role requiring both hands-on technical skills and strategic thinking. The position is responsible for implementing digital analytics tools, contributing to measurement strategy development, and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, develop meaningful dashboards, and influence decision-making through structured analysis and data storytelling. This role is ideal for someone who is both technically skilled and strategically minded, with a focus on driving measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data analysis strategies aligned to business objectives
  • Define, implement, and validate key performance metrics and KPIs
  • Configure and maintain digital tracking across platforms and analytics tools
  • Perform complex analysis across large and disparate datasets
  • Build dashboards and reports that clearly communicate insights and trends
  • Identify actionable insights that improve customer experience and inform strategic decisions
  • Translate data into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders
  • Partner with business and product stakeholders to translate objectives into measurement strategies and requirements
  • Write user requirements, use cases, and documentation to support analytics implementation and reporting

Core Technical Skills (Required)
Demonstrated hands-on skills with the following:
  • SQL
  • JavaScript
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
  • Power BI or Tableau

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in digital analytics, product analytics, or data science
  • Background working with behavioral analytics tools (Quantum Metric a plus, or similar platforms)
  • Working knowledge of Snowflake, including querying and data exploration
  • Hands-on expertise implementing and managing analytics through Google Tag Manager, including dataLayer design and governance
  • Familiarity with consent management platforms (e.g., TrustArc or similar) and privacy regulations (e.g., CCPA and GDPR)
  • Proficiency working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or BigQuery
  • Skilled in building dashboards and visualizations in Power BI or Tableau
  • Exposure to A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, or optimization methodologies
  • Track record supporting cross-functional teams including Product, UX, IT, and Marketing and Branding

What You'll Bring
  • Proactive ownership mindset with the initiative to drive work forward and see tasks through to completion
  • Forward-thinking approach, anticipating downstream impacts and planning accordingly
  • Strong analytical thinking with a structured, methodical approach to problem-solving and root cause analysis
  • Skill in synthesizing stakeholder questions, requirements, and ideas into meaningful, measurable metrics
  • Capability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business and customer impact, with a disciplined focus on meaningful metrics over surface-level reporting
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment within a small, high-impact team
  • Curiosity and persistence to explore data beyond immediate requests, investigate patterns, and uncover underlying drivers of behavior, contributing to the advancement of an enterprise behavioral analytics practice
  • Ability to learn complex concepts and tools quickly, take initiative, and apply guidance effectively
