Position Details:
Job Title:                      Web Analytics Manager

The Web Analytics Manager reports the Director of Digital Marketing for Merchant Sales & Solutions, providing technical leadership and support for web analytics tools that deliver insights to help increase site visitors, create deeper engagement, and improve online conversions. She/He will work closely with global and regional marketing teams to ensure KPIs and success metrics are tightly aligned with digital marketing objectives, and measure/analyze cross-platform digital engagement across websites, microsites, digital assets, social media, video, and beyond.
The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in managing the administration, tagging and customization of web analytics tools. Typical tasks will include constructing and maintaining in-tool dashboards, regularly scheduled web reporting, and ad-hoc reporting. Duties will also include a key leadership role in the technical implementation and execution of a new web analytics system (GA Premium), in tight integration with related systems (Eloqua Marketing Automation, Salesforce CRM, Demandbase).
Responsibilities:
    Define best practice approaches for analyzing online user behavior, configuring web analytics technology, and for interpreting data
    Perform all duties of an analytics tool administrator including creating/managing account access, all site tagging and configurations, custom dashboards, and user training as requested
    Participate in all Global/Regional Marketing kick-off activities to ensure necessary analytics tracking is set-up prior to site or campaign launches
    Run regularly-scheduled web analytics reports that contribute meaningful analysis and actionable insights
    Monitor and provide best practices for improvements of online conversions to optimize campaign success, in collaboration with Digital Marketing and Marketing Operations teams
    Ensure data quality and integrity for key audiences within marketing, sales and other internal organizations
    Determine objectives, methods and tools needed for iterative testing and optimization
    Lead regular tagging audits, providing best practices, and trouble-shooting to ensure accuracy
    Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting for internal clients as requested

Qualifications

Must Have Skills:
    5-7 years reporting, and technical background Experience with Web analytics premium, and Web tag manager
    Executive presentation skills (show on the resume the experience)

Skills and Experience:
    4-5+ years' experience managing enterprise-class web analytics platforms (e.g., Web Analytics, Adobe Analytics/Omniture, WebTrends); expertise with web analytics platform migrations highly valuable
    Proficiency developing custom reports, advanced segments, and complex goals, and the interpretation and presentation of findings
    Experience with SEM/SEO measurement techniques across both owned and paid media; social media measurement tools (NetBase, Radian6, Origami Logic, etc.) a plus
    Intermediate Excel skills and an ability to integrate disparate data sets into clear, concise reports
    Experience with A/B and multivariate testing techniques and best practices
    A passion to stay current with issues and trends in digital marketing, with an emphasis on measurement and reporting, especially for mobile and emerging technologies
