As a Litigation Legal Specialist (fka Paralegal), you're at the center of the action of Google's dynamic Litigation Team. You are behind the success of your Legal team, ready to work collaboratively across the team to meet deadlines, manage simultaneous projects on a variety of legal matters and help the team wherever needed. You have specialized Litigation knowledge and a bias toward action, problem-solving, and getting things done which will influence some of the most defining legal cases in the information age.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

  • Assist Litigation Counsel in managing document preservation, collection, review and production procedures, including evaluating new technologies and vendors.
  • Collaborate with the Litigation and Discovery teams, as well as other groups at Google, to ensure internal systems work well with discovery procedures.
  • Supervise document retrieval and document production, coordinating with external legal counsel in litigation matters.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel on specific assignments, review preliminary advice and provide internal recommendations.
  • Support special project work, including data analytics and tooling development, leaning into early adoption of AI tooling and process improvement to meet the challenges of scale in a growing docket.
