Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join the Paul Miller Auto group. We have over 700 employees, many who have been with us for over 10 years! The ideal candidate will have recent Service Advisor experience, with a GM dealership and be proficient with GM Global and CDK.

  • Commission plan, that includes SVC labor and parts sales on customer pay, internal, warranty, and sublet written.
  • Expected earning potential $100k plus annually.

Duties include:

  • Greet customers and assess their vehicle service needs.
  • Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs needed, including upselling additional services when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service requests, and vehicle history.
  • Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of services.
  • Prepare auto estimates for repairs and maintenance services.
  • Communicate with customers via phone, text, and email.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on automotive diagnostics, repair techniques, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.
  • Previous GM service experience and proficiency with GM Global.
  • Prior CDK experience.
  • Effective communication skills: verbal, texting, and email.
  • Basic automotive mechanical knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
  • Sales skills to promote additional services effectively.
