ABOUT THE JOB
The Global Account Manager leads the strategy and execution of global sales initiatives for key multi-national customers, with a strong focus on the MedTech industry. This role drives profitable growth by aligning customer needs with Tech Etch’s capabilities in manufacturing services, precision components, and engineering collaboration.
 
This position owns the full commercial lifecycle, including P&L performance, contract strategy, and long-term customer partnerships, and works cross-functionally to support programs from product concept and design through full-scale production. As a senior leader, the Global Account Manager plays a key role in expanding strategic accounts and positioning Tech Etch as a trusted design and manufacturing partner.
 
SHIFT: Monday-Friday 8-5pm.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute global account strategies to drive revenue growth, profitability, and long-term customer retention, particularly within MedTech
  • Build strong customer relationships and position Tech Etch as a partner in product design, development, and manufacturing services
  • Own P&L performance and lead account planning, forecasting, and growth initiatives
  • Partner with product development engineers and customers to support programs from concept through production
  • Identify and expand opportunities aligned to customer roadmaps and Tech Etch’s manufacturing and technology capabilities
  • Lead contract negotiation and management, including commercial terms and long-term agreements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (engineering, operations, quality) to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction
  • Provide direction to internal teams and manufacturer representatives supporting global accounts
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, or related field
  • Proven leadership in driving global sales strategy and profitable growth within complex customer environments
  • Strong experience managing P&L performance, forecasting, and account-level financials
  • Expertise in contract negotiation and management, including commercial and legal considerations
  • Deep knowledge of the MedTech industry, including product lifecycle, market dynamics, and regulatory environment
  • Experience partnering with product development engineers to bring products from concept through production
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing services, including contract manufacturing and precision component solutions
  • Knowledge of medical device, aerospace, and/or highly regulated industries
  • Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, operations, and commercial teams
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
 
ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITY 
  • The global account manager position provides a strategic sales responsibility for managing critical Tech-Etch key global customers, which includes management of customer, internal resources, and manufacturer’s reps.
TRAVEL
  • Domestic travel with some international travel equaling 15% - 20% of his/her time.

Salary Range: $130,000-$184,000 
This is the full salary range for the position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
