This position reports to:

__

Role overview:

As a member of the Global Mobility team, you will have the opportunity to play a critical role in coordinating global mobility initiatives across ABB, both at the team and global level. Every day, you will support the global mobility strategy within a designated geography or specialist area, serving as the single point of contact and case manager for assignees and the business. You will also have the opportunity to demonstrate your expertise by providing end-to-end support and guidance across all aspects of assignment management.

The work model for this role is remote (#LI-Remote), or hybrid if you are located near an ABB office location (preferred). Candidates based in the Eastern or Central time zones will be best positioned to support our global internal customer base.

Key responsibilities:

You will be mainly accountable for handling allocated international assignment cases fairly and equitably, as well as managing the first-line tier of policy exceptions, interpretations, and position evaluations. You will own the timely and accurate initiation and follow-through of immigration, relocation, tax, and related services and processes. In this role, you will analyze, interpret, and summarize complex and technical global mobility information, communicating it clearly, concisely, and in an easy-to-understand way to all stakeholders, including HR Business Partners and line managers. You will also support the creation and delivery of training and coaching on policies, standards, and programs for internal stakeholders as needed.

Key qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you bring a Bachelor's degree (preferred) along with at least five years of HR experience, ideally including direct experience managing global mobility matters. You are comfortable working in an international environment and collaborating across diverse cultures. You communicate with confidence and clarity, bringing excellent interpersonal skills that help you build trust and strong partnerships across the business.

You are highly organized, with strong planning and decision-making capabilities, and you thrive in a delivery-focused environment where managing tight deadlines is essential. You are able to handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism. Fluency in spoken and written English is essential, and additional language skills would be a strong advantage.

Building a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative. That's why we welcome people from all backgrounds and experiences.
