Job description

A collaborative, team-oriented leader in the transport industry is seeking a Global Mobility Advisor to join the team. This role serves as a point of contact for global immigration, mobility, and business travel, partnering with employees, leaders, immigration counsel, government agencies, and external vendors to make international assignments happen smoothly, compliantly, and efficiently. The Global Mobility Advisor is responsible for helping employees legally work around the world while creating an exceptional employee experience from beginning to end.

Location: Rosharon, TX - Hybrid

Type of Position: Direct Hire


Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end employment-based immigration processes.
  • Advise leaders on visa strategy, eligibility, timelines and risks.
  • Coordinate international assignments and cross-border employee transfers.
  • Manage business travel compliance and international work authorization requirements.
  • Partner with outside immigration counsel on complex immigration cases.
  • Prepare and organize immigration documentation with exceptional accuracy.
  • Track immigration deadlines and ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Communicate proactively with employees throughout every stage of the immigration process.
  • Research evolving immigration regulations and recommend practical business solutions.
  • Identify process improvements that simplify the employee experience.
  • Support relocation and mobility programs across multiple countries.
  • Work closely with HR, Payroll, Tax, Legal, and Operations to ensure global compliance.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining outstanding customer service.


Requirements:

  • Higher Education in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Business, Legal Studies, Global Mobility, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Global Mobility, Immigration, International HR, or Corporate Mobility
  • Experience managing high-volume employment-based immigration cases from initiation through completion
  • Experience supporting a multinational organization with employees working across multiple countries
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience with U.S. immigration processes, including L-1A, L-1B, TN, and E-3 visas, B-1/B-2 business travel considerations, PERM Labor Certification, I-140 petitions, Adjustment of Status (I-485), Employment Authorization Documents (EAD), Consular Processing, USCIS compliance, Department of Labor regulations, I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification, Prevailing Wage Determinations, and Public Access Files (preferred)
  • Experience with global mobility programs, including international assignments, cross-border employee transfers, work permits, residence permits, immigration compliance, international payroll coordination, tax equalization awareness, shadow payroll concepts, international relocations, business traveler compliance, and immigration risk assessments (preferred)
  • Experience working with external immigration counsel, heavy industrial, construction, engineering, or project-based organizations, multi-country mobility programs, international travel security, international assignment policy administration, vendor management, and process improvement initiatives (preferred)
