Job description

About the Role

We're a fast-growing, seed-stage European AI SaaS company building phone automation technology that helps SMBs handle customer calls around the clock — think appointment booking, lead qualification, order processing, and more. Our platform is GDPR-compliant, built in Europe, and purpose-built for the European market.

We're hiring an ambitious German-speaking Sales Development Representative to own our German-speaking top-of-funnel. You'll be the first touchpoint for inbound leads and a proactive driver of outbound outreach, qualifying opportunities and handing off demos to Account Executives. This is a high-ownership, high-upside role with a clear path to AE — for someone who thrives in a startup environment and wants to grow fast.

What You'll Do
  • Own the full German-speaking top-of-funnel from first contact through to qualified demo handoff.

  • Qualify and prioritize inbound leads generated by marketing and act on them swiftly.

  • Execute multi-channel outreach across phone, email, LinkedIn, and experiment with new channels.

  • Design, build, test, measure, and iterate outreach sequences and hypotheses.

  • Contribute to continuously improving SDR workflows, playbooks, and processes.

  • Support new customer onboarding as part of the handover process.

  • Work toward an Account Executive role by consistently delivering top performance.

What We're Looking For

Must-haves:

  • Native-level German proficiency with a confident, professional phone presence.

  • Strong spoken and written English — our internal company language.

  • 1+ years of outbound B2B sales experience (SDR, BDR, or telesales), ideally in SaaS or tech.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding outbound targets with variable/commission-based pay.

  • Hands-on experience designing and optimizing multi-channel outreach sequences (phone, email, LinkedIn).

  • Hypothesis-driven mindset: you test ideas, measure results, and iterate quickly.

  • Experience handing off qualified opportunities to Account Executives (demo-to-close motion).

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with CRM and sales engagement/sequencing tools.

  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS sales cycles and the SDR-to-AE progression in tech/software.

  • Experience supporting new customer onboarding or post-sale handoffs.

  • Background working in or targeting European (especially German-speaking) markets.

  • Startup DNA: comfortable with ambiguity, end-to-end ownership, and a lean team.

Note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base + uncapped commission — total OTE range: $60,000–$90,000 USD annually.

  • Clear, merit-based path from SDR to Account Executive.

  • High-ownership role with real influence over SDR process and strategy from day one.

  • Work alongside a small, high-caliber team at one of Europe's fastest-growing AI startups.

Location

This is an on-site role based in Vienna, Austria. Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to Vienna. Visa sponsorship is not available.
