*2026/2027 School Year rate- Status quo pending approval of the CBESPA contract. Retroactive pay rate increases may apply.
HOURS: 8:00 am 4:30 pm

DESCRIPTION:ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย 

Perform secretarial duties for the special education department supervisors for the elementary learning support program.ย 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Not an all-inclusive list):

  • Review and process special education paperwork, including student IEPs and evaluation reports
  • Prepare a variety of correspondence, reports, questionnaires, requisitions, forms, and other materials from verbal instructions and rough drafts
  • Research, create, input, format, organize, and edit relevant data as needed or requested and prepare in a user-friendly format
  • Communicate with special education teachers regarding routine questions and correspondence
  • Schedule meetings, professional development sessions, and interviews as required including creating schedules, securing and reserving locations, contacting all invited parties, and distributing materials
  • Order and distribute supplies, equipment, books, and assessment materials
  • Perform general office duties including answering phones, filing, and sorting and handling incoming and outgoing mail
  • All other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  High school diploma with advanced secretarial training including excellent technology skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.ย  Must possess good interpersonal and organizational skills and be detail oriented. Must work as a team member but be able to work independently.ย  Must exercise good judgment, respect the confidential nature of the position, prioritize tasks and communicate effectively orally and in writing.ย  PROCEDURE:
