Job description

We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. The General Assistant is responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:

  • Perform a variety of basic clerical duties following established instructions and procedures.
  • Complete high-volume scanning, stapling, document retrieval, filing, sorting, creating files, posting records, proofreading, data entry, and record maintenance activities.
  • Maintain simple to complex filing systems and records.
  • Compile, review, and verify Excel reports for accuracy.
  • Search, investigate, and retrieve information contained within files and records.
  • Process departmental documents requiring knowledge of functional operations and procedures.
  • Type correspondence and maintain documentation as needed.
  • Perform routine and repetitive tasks in a high-volume information processing environment.
  • Exercise judgment and discretion while performing minor to semi-routine clerical duties of moderate complexity.
Required qualifications for the position include:
  • Current Notary commission in Texas required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred qualifications for the position include:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
  • RON Certification experience as a plus.
  • Mortgage industry experience.
Pay Rate: $17.91 per hour
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
