Human Resources Specialist


Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher in Human Resources or a related field (but experience, training, and/or Human Resources professional certification may be substituted)
  • Prior successful experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or Benefits Administration
  • Knowledge of Human Resources operations including laws/regulations, policies/procedures, and best practices
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace, with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when managing sensitive personnel matters
  • Ability to problem solve, work independently, recognize priorities, and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable
