Job description

The Worcester Railers HC of the ECHL is looking for multiple FOR CREDIT ONLY Game Operations & Production interns in the 2026-27 Academic Year starting in September and ending in December or continuing throughout the season. Candidates must be current college students and must be able to dedicate 15+ hours a week to the internship. Strong verbal skills are essential, as is the ability to work well in a dynamic, small-office environment. The successful candidate should be dependable, able to handle multiple tasks, and work long hours (evenings, weekends & holidays included).
Game Operations & Office:
  • Interns will be required to attend all Railers HC home games as requested.
  • Interns will assist in various aspects of game operations and production, including, but not limited to, pre-game/in-game ceremonies, sponsorship activations, and other fan experiences.
  • Interns should be motivated to represent the Worcester Railers brand.
  • Interns may work office hours during the week and gain additional experience.
  • Interns may have the opportunity to volunteer at several community events at their convenience.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Pursuit of Sports Management, Marketing, Management or Operations degree preferred.
  • Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills and telephone etiquette.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of projects.
  • Ability to Sit or Stand for long periods of time.
  • Basic knowledge of ice hockey encouraged but not required.

Requirements:
  • Must receive college credit.
  • Available to work a minimum of 15+ hours a week, including nights and weekends.
  • Available to work every home game during the Fall/Winter semester.
  • Must have reliable transportation and live in the Worcester or surrounding areas.
