Position Announcement
Under general supervision of the Director - Game Management and Operations the Game Operations student position will help with the regular functions and procedures of all home athletic events for Utah Valley University's intercollegiate sports. This includes working at soccer, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, softball and baseball events. These events mostly happen in the evening and often on weekends.
Summary of Responsibilities
  • Work NCAA Division 1 home games as: scoreboard operator, scorebook keeper, replay technician, camera operator for live stream of event, libero tracker, ball roller, shot clock operator, and other in-game duties.
  • Help with pre-game set-up and post-game take-down for all events. Set up and take down score tables, bench chairs, replay system, sound system, extension cords, internet cable, etc.
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned by Director of Game Operations.

Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications
  • Must be a current UVU student.
  • Must enjoy attending sporting events.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Must know the basic operations and rules of most team sports UVU Athletics competes in.
  • Dependable, Punctual, Detail-Oriented, Confident.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, yet comfortable completing tasks independently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
