Overview:
The IT Manager will be responsible for managing IT systems, networks, and software applications, ensuring the security, availability, and reliability of technology resources to support business operations and strategic objectives. This position requires strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a customer-focused approach to IT service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
1.    IT Infrastructure Management:

-    Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software systems, to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
-    Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software components, including servers, workstations, operating systems, and applications.

2.    Network and Security Administration:
-    Administer and monitor network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks, to ensure connectivity, performance, and security.
-    Implement and enforce security measures, policies, and procedures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.

3.    System Administration and Support:
-    Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, resolving IT issues and inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
-    Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls, and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards.

4.    IT Strategy and Planning:
-    Develop and implement IT strategies, initiatives, and roadmaps to support business objectives and drive innovation and efficiency.
-    Evaluate emerging technologies, trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for technology investments and enhancements.

5.    Vendor and Supplier Management:
-    Manage relationships with IT vendors, suppliers, and service providers, negotiating contracts, agreements, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure cost-effective and reliable IT services.
-    Monitor vendor performance and service delivery and escalate issues or concerns as needed to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

6.    Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:
-    Develop and maintain IT disaster recovery and business continuity plans, processes, and procedures to minimize the impact of IT disruptions and ensure the continuity of business operations.
-    Conduct regular testing and exercises to validate the effectiveness of disaster recovery plans and identify areas for improvement.
 

Qualifications:
-    Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
-    5+ years of experience in IT management or leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in managing IT infrastructure and operations.
-    Strong technical skills and expertise in network administration, system administration, and security management.
-    Experience with ITIL framework, project management methodologies, and IT governance practices.
-    Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate IT teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
-    Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to IT security, data privacy, and compliance.
-    Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNA, or ITIL certifications are a plus.
