Senior Game Producer (Sky)
Remote US & Canada
Reports to: Lead Producer
thatgamecompany is looking for an experienced Senior Producer to drive the delivery of Sky's live content and projects as part of the core production team. This role is responsible for driving execution across seasonal content, limited-time events, features, and collaborations while maintaining release stability, production clarity, and alignment with creative direction. The Senior Producer ensures content ships at a high level of quality and predictability within a fast-moving live environment.
Responsibilities
  • Own production delivery for Sky live content initiatives across seasonal content, limited-time events, gameplay features, and content collaborations.
  • Drive execution from concept through release validation in partnership with design, engineering, art, QA, publishing, community, and platform stakeholders.
  • Partner with discipline producers to align schedules, capacity planning, and milestone commitments across departments.
  • Act as delivery owner for assigned projects, ensuring scope clarity, milestone readiness, and release confidence.
  • Identify production risks early and lead mitigation strategies across cross-functional teams.
  • Support release readiness including coordination with QA, localization, marketing, publishing, and platform requirements.
  • Improve production predictability through structured tracking, reporting, and transparent communication across stakeholders.
  • Act as escalation point for delivery blockers and cross-team alignment challenges.
  • Take initiative to identify gaps in production workflows, delivery visibility, or coordination structures and implement improvements that strengthen team effectiveness and release confidence.
  • Proactively translate ambiguity into actionable plans and drive alignment across stakeholders without requiring continuous direction.
  • Contribute to evolving production frameworks that support Sky as a long-term live service product.
  • Strengthen communication clarity across creative leadership and execution teams to ensure vision alignment throughout production.
  • Partner with leadership to translate strategic goals into executable delivery plans
  • Champion a healthy production culture grounded in accountability, ownership, initiative, and collaboration.
  • Mentor and support the growth of other producers, with the expectation of developing into a people management role over time.
  • Contribute to thatgamecompany's unique culture and vision, positive work environment and the company's growth.

Must Haves
  • 7+ years of hands-on production experience in game development or live service environments.
  • Demonstrated ownership of delivery for complex content releases, features, or multi-team initiatives.
  • Experience shipping updates on a live game with active player impact.
  • Strong execution skills across planning, dependency tracking, risk management, and content delivery.
  • Experience coordinating across multiple disciplines including design, engineering, art, QA, and publishing.
  • Ability to operate independently while aligning stakeholders around shared delivery goals.
  • Strong communication skills across both execution teams and leadership audiences.
  • Proven experience working with agile production workflows and iterative development environments.
  • Proven experience successfully mentoring junior producers on prioritization, tasking, stakeholder management, and process ownership.
  • Advanced experience with Jira and Confluence as production infrastructure.
  • Passion for delivering meaningful player-facing experiences through live content.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 USD to $177,500 USD annually, with the
opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company's compensation practices. Employees in this position are eligible to participate in the Company's standard employee benefit programs, which currently include the following: medical, dental, vision, 401k, and paid time off.
Our base pay is benchmarked against regional market and industry data and is adjusted to reflect the cost of living in your specific geographic area.
