As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at our organization, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations to understand clients' emotional and psychological health.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing specific issues faced by each client.
• Regularly assessing client progress to adapt therapy approaches and interventions as needed.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic strategies tailored to individual client needs, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness approaches.
• Maintaining accurate and secure documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay informed of advancements and trends in mental health care practices.

The clients you will work with come from various backgrounds, facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health concerns. Your empathetic approach and skilled interventions will be crucial in providing support to adolescents, adults, and families seeking to improve their emotional well-being and life satisfaction.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• An active state license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating practical skills and knowledge relevant to the role.

While not required, familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems will benefit your workflow and enhance patient care tracking. Experience in community health settings or with diverse populations is also advantageous.
