This full-time remote position offers an annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000, depending on experience. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans that align with their goals and challenges.
• Provide ongoing therapeutic support through individual counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices appropriate to each client's situation.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health, fostering an understanding of treatment protocols and encouraging active participation in their care.
• Facilitate referrals to local community resources or specialized services based on assessed needs, ensuring a continuity of care.
• Promote mental health awareness in schools, community centers, and among incarcerated populations through outreach programs and collaborative efforts with other local agencies.
• Assist in developing workshops and support groups focusing on alcohol and sexual abuse recovery, while coordinating these programs to enhance service delivery for affected patients.

Our clientele includes children, adolescents, and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in their development and recovery, guiding them toward improved mental and emotional stability. You will help empower patients by providing them with the tools and strategies needed to navigate their mental health journeys successfully.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of two years of experience providing counseling services, with a focus on individual treatment.
• Solid understanding of psychological theories, developmental stages, and behavioral health trends.
• Proficient with interview techniques and therapeutic modalities suited for a variety of patient needs.

• Experience working with children and families in a community health setting.
• Familiarity with integrating care models that include medical and behavioral health disciplines.
• Previous involvement in program development or community education initiatives related to mental health.
