Job description

Hogsalt is looking for a full time Paralegal to join our team!
As the paralegal, you will work closely with our General Counsel to support a wide range of legal matters across our growing hospitality group.

Experience & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4-7 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably with exposure to real estate or corporate law
  • Bachelor's degree and paralegal certification preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working with contracts, leases, and licensing is a plus
  • Notary Public certification preferred, or willingness to obtain notary commission upon hire
  • 4:1 days on-site at our corporate office on Goose Island

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage contract lifecycle for all leases and commercial contracts
  • Litigation case management; maintain pleadings and filings in database
  • Assist in managing the company's legal calendar, including filing deadlines and compliance dates
  • Support licensing efforts across multiple locations and jurisdictions
  • Assist with entity formation and maintenance, including related filings
  • Manage invoices from legal service providers
  • Maintain and update corporate records, including entity filings
  • Provide administrative support to the General Counsel as needed
