Job Title: Litigation Paralegal / Personal Injury Paralegal (Full-Time)

Location: Salem, MA (Commuter Rail Accessible!)

We are a growing, collaborative law firm based in Salem, MA. Our team prides itself on high synergy, strong mutual support, and exceptional client advocacy. We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and detail-oriented Paralegal to manage personal injury and litigation cases from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage litigation and personal injury case files independently and collaboratively.
  • Draft, proofread, and prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, insurance carriers, and medical providers.
  • Request, organize, and review medical records and billing charts.
  • Utilize case management software (Smart Advocate) to maintain accurate records and track deadlines.
  • Answer incoming client communications and perform general administrative office duties.
  • Serve as a Notary Public for legal document execution.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 13+ years of experience in personal injury law, civil litigation, or legal administration.
  • Case Management: Proven experience managing tasks from inception through resolution while prioritizing deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with case file software (Smart Advocate experience strongly preferred).
  • Communication: Exceptional client interaction, phone etiquette, and professional proofreading skills.
  • Certifications: Current Notary Public commission or willingness to obtain notary status upon hire.
  • Languages: Bilingual or multilingual skills (Spanish, Portuguese, etc.) are a strong plus!
