Job description

Our client is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to provide short-term coverage for a leave of absence. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who can step in quickly and support a fast-paced litigation team.


Job Title: Litigation Paralegal (Contract โ€“ Short-Term Coverage)

Start Date: June 22

Duration: 3โ€“6 weeks

Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, 9:30 AMโ€“5:30 PM

Location: Fully onsite (5 days/week)

Pay Rate: $35โ€“$40/hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys and the Head of Litigation across all phases of litigation
  • Manage case files, track deadlines, and organize litigation materials
  • Draft, proofread, and file legal documents (pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery, correspondence)
  • Coordinate document production and assist with e-discovery processes
  • Conduct legal and factual research
  • Prepare exhibits, binders, chronologies, and witness files
  • Assist with hearing, deposition, mediation, and trial preparation
  • Review and summarize medical records, discovery responses, and deposition transcripts
  • Communicate with attorneys, court personnel, and vendors
  • Accurately track and bill time in accordance with expectations


  • Minimum 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience
  • E-discovery experience strongly preferred
  • Trial preparation experience highly desired
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working fully onsite, 5 days per week
  • Able to ramp up quickly and provide immediate support
