Job description

Pay: $26/hour

Location: Remote — open to applicants anywhere in the U.S.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal who enjoys drafting, working independently, and becoming a subject-matter resource in guardianship and conservatorship matters. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to deepen their drafting skills and grow within a structured, remote environment.

This role is ideal for a strong legal drafter who may not yet have direct guardianship experience but is eager to learn. Training will be provided to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities


  • Draft petitions and supporting pleadings for Guardianships and Conservatorships
  • Prepare supporting documents, exhibits, and court-ready filing
  • Assist with case management and tracking deadlines
  • Conduct procedural and statutory research as needed
  • Communicate with supervising attorneys regarding case progress
  • Ensure accuracy, organization, and compliance with court requirements

About You


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of recent paralegal experience in a court-driven practice area
  • Comfortable drafting basic court pleadings and managing matters across multiple jurisdictions
  • Experience with e-filing systems and document-intensive workflows; familiarity with Clio is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional phone presence
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple active matters simultaneously
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment while remaining responsive during core business hours
  • Reliable home office setup with secure internet and phone access
