McGuireWoods is seeking an Antitrust Paralegal to support our Government Investigations & White Collar practice. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in antitrust matters, specifically in managing HSR filings, organizing complex submissions, and preparing detailed exhibits.

  • Assists attorneys in preparing legal documents, including HSR filings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery materials.
  • Manages filings in state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with court rules and e-filing requirements for litigation and antitrust matters.

  • Organizes and maintains complex case files, tracking documents from clients, government agencies, and other sources.

  • Monitors active cases, manages calendars, docketing, and ensures all regulatory and court deadlines are met.

  • Performs substantive case-building tasks, including reviewing evidence for large-scale investigations and searching for specific, significant documents.

  • Marshals and organizes documents and exhibits to assist trial teams in understanding the "big picture" of an antitrust case or investigation.

  • Utilizes Relativity with ease to perform targeted searches and categorize key evidence.

  • Coordinates with the dedicated eDiscovery team to ensure production timelines and data integrity are maintained.

  • Drafts correspondence and prepares binders for depositions, hearings, and trials.

  • Proofreads legal documents for accuracy and completeness, specifically regarding HSR submissions and exhibits.


  • Minimum of 2–5+ years of litigation experience with a required background in antitrust investigations.

  • Must be experienced with Federal/State filings and maintaining organized case files.

  • Proficiency in Relativity and other relevant legal support software is essential.

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, especially in managing high-volume document sets.

  • Ability to substantively analyze documents to determine their significance to a case or investigation.

  • Proactive, self-motivated individual who works well both independently and as part of a high-stakes team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and ECF/Pacer.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-paced work environment.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to act as a substantive contributor when reviewing evidence.
