  • Monitor and coordinate college-wide data reporting functions.
  • IEC34810

  • Non-exempt, non- bargaining unit
  • Institutional Effectiveness personnel, IT personnel, faculty, and staff.
  • Reports to: Director of Accreditation

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Serve as a contact and data processor for state and federal reporting.
  2. Work closely with the Assistant Manager of Data Assurance to ensure data accuracy and track reporting compliance.
  3. Manage institutional NC-SARA compliance and monitor compliance updates on behalf of the college.
  4. Work closely with the instructional team to facilitate student course evaluations and other surveys through EvaluationKIT software.
  5. Collaborate with the instructional team to provide course evaluation data to faculty, analyze response rates and best practices, and amend institutional processes as necessary.
  6. Coordinate and conduct periodic training sessions and seminars on data assurance policies and procedures for departments.
  7. Manage changes in information needs and coordinate the college's response to new reporting requirements.
  8. Adhere to all Data Assurance policies and procedures.
  9. Serve as backup to the Assistant Manager of Data Assurance.
  10. Manage data requests between various departments of the college.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Assist with
  1. Research and implementation of new data vendor software initiatives.
Risk-management and loss-prevention activities
  1. Maintain a working knowledge of the college's emergency procedures and actively participate in the college risk-management program.
  2. Monitor conditions, events and circumstances that present risk to the college community. Intervene and/or report as specified in the college's risk-management plan.

Minimum Necessary Skills, Experience, and Educational Background
  1. Bachelor's Degree or 120 semester hours college credit or specialized related training and four years related work experience required.
  2. Two years of related experience with familiarity with technology operations required.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Effective organizational and time management skills.
  5. Exhibit integrity and professionalism.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  7. Spanish or French proficiency preferred.

Physical Requirements to Perform Job Function
  1. Basic dexterity skills (computer work, telephoning and other office equipment).
  2. Must have visual for analyzing date.
  3. Sitting for sustained periods of time.
  4. General physical effort required includes sitting, bending, reaching and some lifting (20 lbs. or less) and the ability to place a work order for anything over that limit.
