Hiring Salary: $5,566.40 - $7,083.33/Monthly

JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The Director ensures compliance with accreditation standards, manages continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives, and oversees data analysis for the College of Medicine undergraduate training programs, including MD, Physician Assistant (PA), and any future training program(s). This role is critical for maintaining LCME and ARC-PA accreditation and driving institutional excellence.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  

EDUCATION: Master's Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Operations, or related field. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED)

EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience performing data analytics; OR Bachelor's Degree and four (4) years of experience performing data analytics. Supervisory experience required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Experience with quality improvement. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively and collegially with a broad range of stakeholders, including faculty and staff across multiple administrative units and disciplines.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple complex tasks with minimal supervision, ensuring timely completion with a high degree of quality. 

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. 

WORK SCHEDULE:  This position may occasionally be required to work evenings and weekends. May require occasional overnight travel.

  1. Leads the accreditation process for the College of Medicine undergraduate training programs (MD, PA, any future programs), including reports, self-studies, and site visit documentation.

  2. Develops an action plan to address any accreditation findings.

  3. Manages the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) programs for the College of Medicine undergraduate training programs.

  4. Monitors legislative and regulatory changes affecting medical education.

  5. Oversees data analyses related to student performance outcomes and accreditation metrics.

  6. Supervises and  directs data analysts (Senior Evaluation Assessment Analyst and Evaluation and Curriculum Data Analyst) to ensure accurate reporting and analysis.

  7. Works directly with UT Health Science Center Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Decision Support to align strategic priorities and compliance outcomes.

  8. Maintain accurate records of accreditation and compliance activities.

  9. Collaborates with leadership to prioritize and implement improvement initiatives.

  10. Develops and implements policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

  11. Ensures compliance with accrediting bodies (LCME, ARC-PA) and institutional policies.

  12. Performs other related duties as assigned.
