Position Description:

The Human Resources Leadership Development Program (HRLDP) at Alcon is a key pipeline for graduate degree talent with ambition to advance into leadership positions within HR. Exceptional individuals chosen for this highly selective and challenging program engage in tailored rotational experiences towards an HR career path. Members will engage in three, year-long rotations. Rotations will include 2 HR Business Partner rotations and 1 rotation within Global Talent Acquisition (GTA). Program benefits will include Mentoring, Functional Programming, Networking Events, Tailored Development, and Executive Presentations on key learnings and outcomes of rotations.

Location: The COE rotation (GTA) will be located at our Fort Worth, TX site and some future HR Business Partner rotations may be located at US Manufacturing sites in Irvine or Lake Forest, CA, Duluth, GA, Houston or Fort Worth, TX, Huntington, WV or Sinking Spring, PA.

Minimum Qualifications:

Internal Alcon Associates:

  • Internal Alcon Associates must have obtained a graduate degree in a related field from an accredited university or college between July 2025 and no later than June 2027.

  • Academic performance: Minimum cumulative GPA 2.8/4.0.

  • Minimum 2 years prior work experience required and max 2 years work experience at Alcon.

  • Consistent internal performance rating of 3 and above.

  • One over one manager endorsement/approval.

  • Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis.

  • Ability to commit to a 3-year rotational program, full time while being geographically mobile in the United States.

External Candidates:

  • Must be graduating with a master's degree from an accredited university or college by June 2027. (December 2026 graduates will begin in January 2027 and May/June 2027 graduates will begin in June 2027).

  • Minimum 2 years prior work experience.

  • Academic performance: Minimum cumulative GPA 2.8/4.0.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e. extracurricular activities or projects).

  • Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis.

  • Prior Alcon internship experience.

  • Ability to commit to a 3-year rotational program, full time while being geographically mobile in the United States.
