Temporary Human Resources Generalist
Temporary Assignment from June 1st - October 30th
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Temporary Human Resources Generalist to provide maternity leave coverage from June 1 through October 30. This role will support core People Operations functions and ensure continuity across employee support, HR transactions, benefits administration, and compliance activities during the coverage period.
This is a full-time, temporary position ideal for a hands-on HR professional who can step in quickly, manage day-to-day execution, and partner closely with HR leadership and cross-functional teams.
The Purpose of Your Role
In this temporary assignment, you will support essential people operations including benefits administration, leave of absence management, HRIS transactions, reporting, and employee inquiries to ensure smooth and compliant People Operations throughout the maternity leave coverage period.
The Qualifications We're Looking For
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role supporting multiple HR functions
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and generating reports
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

The Value You Deliver
Key Responsibilities and Job Duties
During this temporary coverage assignment, you will
  • Administer day-to-day benefits operations, including employee inquiries, enrollment support, and vendor coordination.
  • Support leave of absence administration, including tracking, documentation, and employee communications.
  • Process HRIS transactions, including new hires, job changes, pay updates, and data maintenance.
  • Run and maintain HR reports to support operational and compliance needs.
  • Reconcile benefits and HR-related invoices and partner with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
  • Serve as a point of contact for general employee HR questions, escalating issues as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Support additional HR operations tasks and projects as assigned during the coverage period.

  • Ability to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods of time while working on a computer.
  • Available for virtual meetings in a non-distracted environment.
