The HRIS Administrator/Analyst plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day activities of our Human Resources Information System (SAP SuccessFactors). This individual performs work as a part of the administration of the system while also being an active participant in the analysis and processing of actions. This position will also assist in creating reports and supporting HRIS initiatives, while ensuring data integrity throughout. The role requires a highly detail-oriented individual who has experience in HR systems, understands the importance of data integrity, strives to operate within critical processing deadlines, has experience administering an HRIS, and likes to work on a team that rolls up their sleeves and supports each other. This position reports to the HRIS Manager. Previous experience working in SAP SuccessFactors is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
  • Maintains and updates the system, including configurations, workflows, and role-based permissions.
  • Generates custom and scheduled reports. Conducts analysis on data and ensures data integrity. Partners within the HRIS and department teams in the maintenance and update of organization-wide dashboards.
  • Reviews and processes day-to-day actions in the HRIS.
  • Responds to HRIS inquiries, providing technical support, training, and guidance to users across the organization.
  • Support HRIS projects, initiatives and priorities, collaborating with teams across the organization.
  • Maintains documentation and works to safeguard employee information.
  • Stay abreast of the latest HR technology trends and innovations, recommending upgrades or new systems to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in HRIS or related roles.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Understanding of HR processes and data, including payroll, benefits, talent management, and compliance.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced/growth-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of HR regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work onsite at SPA Headquarters in Alexandria, VA.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in SAP SuccessFactors preferred.
