Job description

Job Title: HRIS Manager
Reports to: Director, Total Rewards & HR Operations
Location: Plano, TX (Base Camp)
FLSA Status: Exempt
Compensation: $85,000 - $117,000
Summary:
The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Manager at Mendocino Farms oversees the organization's HR
technology platforms, ensuring that human resources systems effectively support business operations, workforce
management, compliance, reporting, and employee services. This role serves as the bridge between Human
Resources, Information Technology, Payroll, and other business functions to optimize HR systems, improve
processes, maintain data integrity, and support strategic decision-making through workforce analytics and reporting.
The HRIS Manager is responsible for managing HR software applications, system implementations, upgrades,
integrations, troubleshooting, security, and user support. They also lead initiatives to streamline HR processes,
enhance employee experience, and ensure compliance with employment laws, data privacy regulations, and company
policies.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the organization's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), ensuring system
    functionality, reliability, and data integrity.
  • Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for HR technology platforms, including
    configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Lead HRIS projects, including system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, testing, and integrations
    with internal and external systems.
  • Partner with other People Departments, IT, Operations, Finance, and business leaders to identify system
    needs, improve processes, and support operational efficiencies.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze people reports, dashboards, metrics, and workforce analytics to support
    strategic decision-making, compliance, pre-litigation and litigation matters.
  • Ensure accuracy, security, and confidentiality of team member data in compliance with company policies and
    applicable regulations.
  • Manage system permissions, workflows, business processes, and user access controls.
  • Oversee data audits, validation processes, and issue resolution to maintain high levels of data quality and
    compliance.
  • Evaluate current HR processes and recommend system enhancements or automation opportunities to
    improve the employee and manager experience.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
  • Provide HRIS training and support to HR team members, managers, and end users.
  • Manage relationships with HR technology vendors and third-party partners, including issue escalation and
    service review discussions.
  • Monitor industry trends, HR technology advancements, and best practices to recommend continuous
    improvements.
  • Support compliance reporting and audits related to HR data, employment regulations, and internal
    governance requirements.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field required.
  • 5+ years of progressive HRIS experience, including system administration, reporting, and HR technology
    support.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Dayforce HCM platform, including system administration, configuration,
    reporting, troubleshooting, and process optimization across a variety of modules.
  • Demonstrated experience managing HR system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and process
    improvements.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics using HRIS reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of data governance, system security, compliance standards, and HR data privacy regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
    and with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience troubleshooting system issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing sustainable
    solutions.
  • Experience with data integrations, file feeds, APIs, or HR system interfaces preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion and
    professionalism.
