Position Summary
The HRIS Specialist is responsible for the administration, maintenance, optimization, and support of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) environment, with a primary focus on UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management (WFM). This role serves as the subject matter expert for HR and Workforce Management processes, ensuring data integrity, system functionality, compliance, and process efficiency.
The HRIS Specialist partners closely with HR, Payroll, Operations, IT, and business stakeholders to support ongoing system enhancements, reporting, troubleshooting, integrations, testing, and end-user training. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, HR systems expertise, and hands-on experience with UKG Pro and Workforce Management modules.
Functions & Duties
  • HRIS Administration
  • Maintain and support UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management applications.
  • Configure and maintain organizational structures, job codes, employee records, security roles, workflows, and system tables.
  • Ensure system configurations align with business processes and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor data quality and perform regular audits to maintain system integrity.
  • Workforce Management Administration
  • Configure and maintain:
  • Scheduling Profiles
  • User Personas and Security Profiles
  • Support workforce scheduling and timekeeping processes.
  • Troubleshoot timekeeping, attendance, leave, scheduling, and accrual issues.
  • Reporting & Analytics
  • Create, maintain, and distribute HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Workforce Management reports.
  • Develop dashboards and metrics for leadership and operational teams.
  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends, process improvement opportunities, and compliance risks.
  • Validate data accuracy between HRIS and downstream payroll systems.
  • System Enhancements & Projects
  • Participate in HRIS implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
  • Conduct configuration testing, unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Document processes, system changes, and configuration decisions.
  • Integrations & Data Management
  • Monitor and support inbound and outbound system integrations.
  • Assist with file feeds and interfaces between HRIS, payroll, benefits, and third-party vendors.
  • Identify data discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • End User Support
  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for HRIS-related issues.
  • Train HR, Payroll, managers, and employees on HRIS and Workforce Management functionality.
  • Develop user guides, SOPs, and training documentation.
  • Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain appropriate system security and confidentiality standards.
  • Support internal and external audits related to HR, Payroll, and Workforce Management data.

At CMA CGM, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The expected salary range for this position is $62,000 - $76,000 per year. The actual salary offered will be based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
