Job description

Join Ten Mile as an Accounts Receivable representative where you will play a key role in maintaining our accounts receivable processes. This position, located in Washington, PA, offers a competitive starting wage of $23.00/hour; a higher rate could be considered based on applicants experience.  Will train where necessary. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer invoicing and maintaining strong relationships to support the company’s financial health.  This role reports to the Accounting Manager and requires full-time availability at our main office.

Responsibilities
  • Summarize field paperwork in preparation for daily billing and payroll.
  • Coordinate with upper management regarding accuracy and/or discrepancies of documentation prior to invoicing.
  • Prepare and send invoices to customers promptly and accurately through customer required programs.
  • Follow up with customers on outstanding invoices and resolve any payment discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with other accounting team members to support month-end close activities.
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation in compliance with company policies.
  • Other various data entry duties as necessary.
Requirements
  • Pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and criminal background.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable or other accounting roles.
  • Familiarity with basic construction, including equipment types and sizes. 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, QuickBooks experience preferred.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Correspondence and interaction with customers and employees within the company.
  • Ability to work with Project managers to complete billing tasks of work completed in the field.
  • Adaptability, flexibility and a collaborative working style.
