Job description

WNY Urology Associates, Harlem Rd. location, is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and efficient front desk receptionist who is able to multitask in a fast -paced medical practice. Your primary job duties will include greeting and checking in patients, collecting co-pays, and processing paperwork. The ability to maintain a positive attitude in a high patient volume practice is a must.

Job duties include:

  • Greeting patients with courtesy as they arrive.
  • Updating patient demographics, pharmacy and insurance plan in the EMR.
  • Scanning, filing, and preparation of patient charts and records.
  • Reviewing and routing patient documents in the EMR.
  • Answer patient questions and incoming phone calls as needed.
  • Schedule patient appointments as needed.
  • Collecting co-pays
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and take directives from leadership.
  • Flexibility to work at check-in, check-out, and assist with Kiosk as needed.
  • Take on additional tasks as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • EMR experience a must (Medent preferred but not required).
  • 1 + year experience working in a medical office.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Proficient in keyboarding and computer navigation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $17.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
