MaxHealth is looking to hire a full-time fully remote Medical Assistant to conduct daily interactions in a manner that demonstrates a positive and organized attitude and effectively models the organization's service philosophy and values.
Must have strong computer skills, be able to trouble shoot & help patients join the visit electronically.
Supports all patients of Company in an organized and clinically professional manner. Clinical Assistant activities include clinical and administrative aspects of working in a medical facility (quality assurance, customer service and satisfaction, participation in planning and development activities, and following defined policies and procedures).
This healthcare position earns a competitive wage , depending on experience. We provide fantastic benefits, including health benefits, a 401k plan, life insurance, long-term disability, paid holidays, and PTO (paid time off)!
Starting Salary- $20.00 an hour.
Location- Fully Remote in the State of Florida
Normal hours of operation are Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm EST.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MEDICAL ASSISTANT
  • High school graduate or hold GED with successful completion of MA school/training program and a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant with 3+ years of experience preferred
  • Experience in a Cardiology practice preferred
  • Strong skills and experience working with computers, electronic medical record systems, quality assurance protocols and indications of patient medical history
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety procedures
  • Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, co-workers and other physician staff members
  • Knowledge of computer software programs including: Microsoft 365 Suite, and EMR software systems. Ability to cross train in other areas of clerical support
  • Ability to take initiative and resolve patient care issues independently or with the assistance of the Virtual Cardiologist.
  • BLS certification required

A Day in the Life of a Virtual Medical Assistant
Medical Assistant will support our Virtual Cardiologist in all requirements of a medical office. Responsibilities will include scheduling patients, chart prep, assisting patients to join the link for the virtual patient visit, accurately and efficiently documenting medical information and accurately and efficiently carry out physician orders.
