NAVIX Diagnostix, Inc. is a leading provider of mobile and fixed-site diagnostic imaging and healthcare services, including Mobile PET/CT, ultrasound, cardiovascular services, remote MRI technologist staffing, and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM)/Chronic Care Management (CCM) programs. We partner with hospitals, physician groups, imaging centers, and health systems across the region to deliver high-quality, cost-effective healthcare solutions.


As a growing healthcare services organization, NAVIX offers interns the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while gaining exposure to multiple aspects of healthcare business development, sales, marketing, physician relations, and healthcare operations.


We are seeking a motivated and professional Sales Intern to support our business development efforts. This role combines targeted outreach, digital and social media engagement, and direct face-to-face interaction with physician practices and healthcare administrators. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, self-driven, and comfortable operating in a healthcare professional environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesTelemarketing & Outbound Outreach
  • Conduct structured outbound phone campaigns targeting physician offices, hospital departments, outpatient clinics, and ambulatory surgery centers
  • Introduce NAVIX Diagnostix service lines โ€” including Mobile PET/CT, ultrasound, cardiovascular diagnostics, RPM/CCM, and remote MRI staffing โ€” to prospective clients
  • Qualify leads, document prospect information, and schedule follow-up meetings for senior business development staff
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce; track call activity, outcomes, and pipeline progression
  • Follow HIPAA-compliant and professional communication protocols in all outreach activities
Social Media & Digital Marketing
  • Assist in developing and scheduling content for LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant platforms to promote NAVIX services and brand awareness
  • Draft posts, captions, and short-form written content aligned with healthcare professional audiences including physicians, practice managers, and administrators
  • Monitor engagement metrics and assist in compiling monthly social media performance summaries
  • Support email marketing campaigns, including drafting, list management, and performance tracking
  • Research competitive positioning, industry news, and relevant healthcare trends for content inspiration
Field Sales Support & Physician Outreach
  • Deliver marketing materials, service brochures, and promotional items to target accounts
  • Accompany senior business development staff on client calls and facility tours; contribute to meeting preparation and follow-up
  • Participate in local healthcare networking events, trade shows, and community outreach activities as assigned
Administrative & Operational Support
  • Prepare meeting summaries, outreach reports, and activity logs for internal review
  • Assist with the development of sales collateral, presentations, and proposal documents
Qualifications & RequirementsRequired
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited program in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong verbal communication skills with a confident, professional telephone presence
  • Polished, business-professional demeanor suitable for face-to-face interaction with physicians and healthcare executives
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
Preferred
  • Prior experience in healthcare, medical sales, physician relations, or a customer-facing role
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, LinkedIn Campaign Manager)
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Basic understanding of diagnostic imaging, healthcare reimbursement, or physician practice operations
  • Bilingual or multilingual communication skills a plus
