Overview

We are seeking a Technical SME - Enterprise Print, Scan & Output Services to lead the design, implementation, support, and optimization of warehouse printing, scanning, labeling, and output management technologies within a SAP-enabled environment.
This role partners closely with SAP, Supply Chain, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Operations teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable warehouse print and scan services that support inventory management, logistics operations, material movement, and future SAP initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP output management, warehouse printing technologies, barcode solutions, industrial printers, handheld scanning devices, and supporting infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Support and administer SAP-integrated warehouse printing, scanning, and labeling solutions.
  • Configure and support SAP output management processes for labels, forms, shipping documents, inventory documents, and warehouse transactions.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for warehouse print architecture, print routing, and output management technologies, including VPSX/OutputManager.
  • Support Zebra, Honeywell, and other industrial printing and scanning platforms.
  • Manage warehouse print servers, print queues, printer configurations, drivers, firmware, and device connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot complex SAP printing, barcode scanning, and label generation issues affecting warehouse operations.
  • Support warehouse business processes including receiving, inventory management, cycle counting, picking, packing, shipping, and material movement.
  • Develop technical standards, procedures, designs, and support documentation.
  • Collaborate with SAP, networking, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure and reliable warehouse print services.
  • Support modernization initiatives involving cloud printing, warehouse automation, mobile computing, and advanced barcode technologies.
  • Participate in SAP testing, integration validation, cutover planning, go-live activities, and post-production support.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience supporting warehouse technology, industrial printing, scanning, or enterprise infrastructure environments.
  • Experience supporting business-critical operational technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with hardware manufacturers, vendors, and third-party support organizations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP Printing and SAP Output Management.
  • Experience with VPSX / OutputManager.
  • Experience supporting Zebra, Honeywell, Intermec, Datalogic, or similar warehouse technologies.
  • Experience with barcode printing, thermal printing, and shipping label technologies.
  • Experience supporting warehouse management, supply chain, logistics, or utility operations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, and hybrid infrastructure environments.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and API integrations.
