This role typically involves using a smartphone, tablet, or a computer with a webcam to scan barcodes for inventory management, data entry, or product verification. Remote barcode scanning is commonly used in industries like retail, logistics, and warehousing to improve efficiency and accuracy. Workers in this job may need to ensure data integrity, troubleshoot scanning issues, and sometimes communicate with team members or clients remotely.
