Job Description
Our business owns and operates a warehouse that temporarily stores items for people on a short-term basis (like trade shows, foreign students on summer break, seasonal items like skis etc). Items arrive and leave our warehouse using commercial shippers like FedEx, UPS and US Postal Service.We need to upload our customer database to the Zoho CRM and integrate it with a custom built Zoho Creator app that allows us to scan incoming and outgoing items and notify our customers via email the status of their items. In the most basic terms, we need someone to build an inventory management system that integrates with a CRM. This will likely be an ongoing freelance position. The right candidate will understand warehouse management, barcode and QR code scanning into a database, be an expert in Zoho Creator and Zoho CRM, workflows and deluge programming. We have several hundred customers and several thousand items in our warehouse already.We are currently using a spreadsheet to track but are quickly outgrowing this system.
