Summary
Conducts new hire driver training, to include follow-up training, annual revalidation and driver audits. Assist with all departmental training needs. Conducts audits for vehicle handling procedures. Ensure employees are working in a safe and accident -free work environment.
Responsibilities
  • Conducts new hire driver training effectively and efficiently
    • Transport trainees to training area operating company vehicle
    • Conducts driver revalidation, annual revalidation and driver audits to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
    • Assist in monitoring compliance with operations policies and procedures to reduce frequency of accidents
    • Identify and report potential safety hazards.
    • Complete training and audit forms
  • Assist in general safe work practices
    • Ensure driver training area is checked and vehicles are staged
    • Assist with preparing required training documents
    • Ensure adherence to all company policies and standards are followed
    • Assess training needs for new and existing employees
    • Perform audits to include PPE, Anti-Mutilation, Dress Code & Vehicle Handling

  • Ability to understand, facilitate, and train on all safety and vehicle handling procedures
