A busy hotel in the heart of Times Square is seeking an experienced Front Office Manager for a temporary 1-2 month assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Pay: $28.00/hour
- Schedule: Flexible schedule required, including overnight shifts
- Assignment Length: Approximately 1-2 months
- Location: Times Square, New York City
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Front Office, including guest check-in/check-out, registration, room inventory, and adherence to hotel policies and brand standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, proactively address service concerns, and implement solutions to continuously improve the guest experience.
- Lead revenue-driving initiatives by promoting hotel services and identifying upselling opportunities to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Provide ongoing communication and training to ensure the front office team is knowledgeable about hotel amenities, services, promotions, and local attractions.
- Welcome guests, respond to inquiries, and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Supervise, coach, and support Front Office team members while fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing work environment.
- Ensure seamless daily operations while maintaining exceptional service standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Front Office Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, or in a comparable hotel leadership role.
- Hands-on experience with Hilton ONQ is required.
- Strong understanding of front office operations, guest services, and hotel procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain organized in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and guest recovery skills.
