Job description

Punchcut is seeking a creative, organized, and proactive Marketing Growth Designer to help bring our brand, expertise, and work to market. This is an early- to mid-career role for someone with a minimum of 1–3 years of experience in marketing design, digital marketing, graphic design, social media, or a related field. The ideal candidate combines strong visual design skills with an interest in content, technology, and business growth.

You will work across marketing and sales initiatives—designing campaigns and content, supporting our website and social channels, developing proposals and presentations, and helping the team keep marketing programs organized and moving forward. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both creating polished work and helping make it happen.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Marketing Design

  • Design and produce digital marketing assets for social media, email, campaigns, and thought leadership.
  • Create and update website pages, landing pages, case studies, and featured content.
  • Design sales proposals, presentations, and capabilities decks.
  • Develop reusable campaign templates and branded marketing collateral.
  • Translate ideas and information into clear, compelling visual stories.
  • Work with the Design Director to maintain consistency across brand and marketing communications.

Content and Publishing

  • Support the development, coordination, and publishing schedules of marketing campaigns.
  • Help repurpose longer-form content into social posts, graphics, and presentations.
  • Draft and refine foundational marketing copy for social posts, landing pages, and emails.
  • Coordinate with internal contributors to gather content, feedback, and approvals.
  • Publish and manage content across Punchcut’s social media channels.
  • Build and launch website landing pages and routine site updates.

Brand Asset Management

  • Maintain template libraries of presentations, proposals, case studies and assets.
  • Help ensure that marketing and sales materials remain accurate, up to date, and easy to access.
  • Identify opportunities to use AI-driven automation to improve the quality, speed, and efficiency.

Research and Performance

  • Research relevant industry, technology, design, and marketing trends.
  • Track competitor activity and emerging content opportunities.
  • Monitor campaign, website, and social media engagement and performance.
  • Help test new formats, channels, and approaches to increase visibility and engagement.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 1–3 years of professional, freelance, or equivalent experience in marketing design, digital marketing, graphic design, social media, or a related field.
  • Degree in graphic design, visual communication, marketing, or a related discipline—or equivalent practical experience.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design, typography, layout, visual storytelling, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with contemporary design and presentation tools, such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience designing presentations, social media content, digital campaigns, or web-based marketing materials.
  • An understanding of brand systems and how to apply them consistently across channels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive, resourceful approach and a strong sense of accountability.
  • Comfort working in a collaborative, fast-moving, and evolving environment.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn new tools, formats, and ways of working.

BONUS POINTS FOR:

  • Interest in user experience, artificial intelligence, product design, and emerging technology.
  • Hands-on work in Framer, WordPress, or a similar website platform.
  • Familiarity with website analytics, SEO, social analytics, or marketing performance tools.
  • Skilled in video editing, animation, or motion design using tools like After Effects or Premiere Pro
  • Experience using generative AI tools for research, writing, design exploration, or production.
  • Background supporting a consulting, professional services, technology, or creative organization.

COMPENSATION:

  • For W-2 Temporary Employees:
    • Hourly Rate: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour (based on skills and experience)
    • Benefits: Eligible for sick leave and 401k
  • For 1099 Independent Contractors:
    • Hourly Rate: $45.00 – $65.00 per hour (based on skills and experience)
    • Benefits: Not eligible for company-sponsored benefits; responsible for own taxes and insurance

All candidates will be hired as W2 temporary employees unless they can prove eligibility as a 1099 independent contractor.
