Job description

Position Summary
Baden Sports is seeking a creative, strategic, and hands-on Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of marketing initiatives across our portfolio of products. This role is responsible for driving brand awareness, consumer engagement, retail support, digital marketing performance, and integrated campaign execution across multiple channels.
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong execution skills, thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, and has a passion for sports, athletes, and authentic brand storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Marketing Strategy
  • Develop and execute annual marketing plans aligned with company growth objectives and brand priorities.
  • Manage and strengthen brand positioning across basketball, volleyball, football, soccer, baseball, softball and other product categories.
  • Ensure consistency of brand voice, visual identity, and messaging across all platforms and customer touchpoints.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product development, customer service, and executive leadership.

Digital Marketing & Content
  • Oversee digital marketing efforts including email marketing, social media, paid advertising, SEO/SEM, and website content.
  • Manage content calendars and lead creation of engaging digital content including photography, video, athlete stories, and product campaigns.
  • Monitor and optimize digital performance metrics including traffic, engagement, conversion rates, and ROI.
  • Support eCommerce growth initiatives through promotional campaigns and product merchandising.

Product Launches & Campaign Management
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product leadership to plan and execute go-to-market campaigns for new product launches.
  • Develop marketing collateral, presentations, sales tools, and retailer support materials.
  • Lead seasonal campaigns, sponsorship activations, tournaments, events, and grassroots marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with external agencies, photographers, designers, and freelance partners as needed.

Partnerships & Athlete Engagement
  • Support athlete, coach, league, and organizational partnerships that strengthen brand visibility and credibility.
  • Identify opportunities for influencer, NIL, and ambassador marketing initiatives.
  • Help manage sponsorship assets, activation schedules, and relationship communications.

Analytics & Budget Management
  • Track campaign performance and provide actionable reporting and insights.
  • Manage marketing budgets and prioritize spending to maximize impact and efficiency.
  • Analyze consumer trends, competitive activity, and market opportunities.

Requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably within sporting goods, consumer products, lifestyle brands, or eCommerce.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms and analytics tools.
  • Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns from concept through execution.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Analytics, or similar marketing platforms is preferred.
  • Proficiency using AI-powered tools to enhance productivity, creative development, content generation, analytics, and overall marketing effectiveness.
  • Passion for sports and understanding of athlete and team sports culture strongly preferred.
