Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Video Producer - Freelancer based in Netherlands.

Join an exciting educational content project focused on creating engaging, high-quality technical training materials for software professionals. In this freelance role, you will take ownership of the video production process, transforming existing learning content into polished instructional videos that enhance the learner experience. Working closely with an instructional design expert, you will combine technical understanding, creative storytelling, and production expertise to deliver content that is both informative and visually compelling. The project includes a mix of narrated coding demonstrations, animated presentations, and professionally edited training modules. This opportunity is ideal for experienced video producers who enjoy working with technical subject matter and creating impactful learning experiences for a global audience.

Accountabilities
  • Produce a complete series of instructional training videos based on pre-developed educational content, scripts, and technical documentation.
  • Capture high-quality screen recordings of coding demonstrations, terminal sessions, and software workflows while ensuring visual clarity and learner accessibility.
  • Create and edit animated slide presentations with professional voiceover integration and engaging visual elements.
  • Manage all stages of post-production, including editing, audio enhancement, graphics integration, chapter creation, lower-thirds, timestamps, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate closely with instructional stakeholders to ensure videos accurately reflect learning objectives and technical content.
  • Align narration, chapter markers, transcripts, and metadata with software demonstrations and supporting documentation.
  • Guide and support subject matter experts during recording sessions to help deliver clear, effective presentations.
  • Deliver finalized training videos along with all required source files and production assets according to project specifications and timelines.
Requirements
  • Proven experience producing professional e-learning, software training, or technical instructional video content.
  • Strong expertise in screen recording production, video editing, motion graphics, and post-production workflows.
  • Ability to understand code, software demonstrations, and technical documentation sufficiently to ensure accurate content alignment.
  • Experience directing or coaching presenters and subject matter experts during recording sessions.
  • Proficiency with professional video production tools such as Camtasia, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe Audition, Descript, OBS, or equivalent platforms.
  • Experience creating and editing transcripts, captions, chapter markers, and video metadata.
  • Access to licensed video production software and the ability to independently manage all production requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deliverables, timelines, revisions, and stakeholder feedback effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail throughout the production lifecycle.
  • Availability to support project delivery within the specified production schedule.
Benefits
  • Flexible freelance engagement with the ability to work remotely.
  • Opportunity to contribute to a large-scale professional certification and technical education initiative.
  • Creative ownership over video production workflows and tool selection.
  • Collaboration with experienced instructional design and technical content professionals.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge software training content and developer-focused learning materials.
  • Clearly defined project scope with established content, scripts, and supporting resources already available.
  • Opportunity to build your portfolio with professionally produced technical education content.
  • Independent work environment with flexibility to manage your schedule and production process.
