Overview

We're looking for Senior Art Director (freelance) who will work to understand our client's objectives; help shape the creative approach and work with the design team in overseeing the creative vision and execution of projects.  In this role, you'll lead the concept, design and execution of groundbreaking visual solutions for integrated, cross-channel initiatives including large Web initiatives, online advertising and digital marketing. The amazing conceptual power and exceptional design skills that you bring to the team will be put to use daily as you assist the Creative Director in leading a best-in-class creative team.

Responsibilities
  • Creating a range of powerful, viable concepts and designs for each project, partnering with copywriters to ensure the copy direction and visual presentation work together to make the concept powerful and compelling
  • Communicating visual designs, motion design, concepts, and storyboards through presentations - and getting clients to approve (and love) the recommended designs
  • Deftly juggling multiple projects while inspiring & motivating both your creative teammates and your clients
  • Supports larger creative team in brainstorming sessions and concept creation.
  • Completes research projects and other day-to-day requests.
  • Assists in asset creation and delivers work he or she is proud of.
  • Has a general knowledge of technology, user interface and visual design fundamentals.
  • Stays current on latest industry and design trends.
  • Maintains high quality on creative deliverables.
  • Help develop creative content for digital and traditional media platforms.
  • Track and report on campaign performance, suggesting optimizations. 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Digital Media Design, or Advertising/Portfolio school

  • 5-7 experience in an advertising or marketing agency preferred

  • Experience within tech, fintech, finance is a really big PLUS!

  • An engaging portfolio than demonstrates both conceptual ability and art direction craft

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (After effect, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Adobe XD, and Figma

  • General awareness and understanding of the digital landscape, including online campaigns, mobile experiences, and social media landscape.

  • Enthusiasm, big ideas and attention for details are welcome

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and innovation.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • You are passionate about the creative world and love to stay on top of the latest trends, strategies, and technologies as well as how competitors within the industry are doing things

  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality work
