Description:

The Client Onboarding Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding process for commercial clients, including deposit account setup, treasury management services implementation, and relationship documentation. This role partners closely with Treasury Management Officers, Commercial Operations, and internal support teams to ensure a smooth, compliant, and efficient onboarding experience for both clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Client Onboarding & Account Opening

· Manage onboarding for new commercial relationships, including deposit accounts and treasury management services

· Coordinate the setup of account structures and service configurations

· Facilitate onboarding for products including, but not limited to, online banking, ACH, wires, RDC, and IntraFi (ICS/CDARS) services

Documentation & Compliance

· Review and validate all required documentation in accordance with CIP/CDD and internal policies

· Prepare, generate, and distribute account opening and TM service agreements for client execution

· Ensure proper collection, retention, and filing of documentation for audit and compliance purposes

· Maintain familiarity with business entity structures (LLCs, Corporations, Partnerships, Trusts, etc.) and related documentation requirements

Client & Internal Communication

· Serve as a primary point of contact during onboarding for TMOs, internal partners, and clients

· Coordinate directly with clients to gather information, clarify requirements, and provide status updates

Process Coordination & Execution

· Manage the onboarding lifecycle from intake through implementation and handoff to support teams

· Track onboarding status and ensure all steps are completed within expected timelines

· Perform quality assurance checks on account setups and service configurations prior to client handoff

Additional Responsibilities

· Support ongoing process improvements and documentation updates

· Provide backup support across onboarding, support, or operations functions as needed

· Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in banking, treasury management or commercial onboarding
  • Strong understanding of business account opening and documentation review processes
  • Knowledge of treasury management products (ACH, wires, RDC, online banking, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Ability to manage multiple onboarding requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Work Location Requirement This position is designated as remote; however, if you reside within a 50-mile radius of one of our office locations, the role will be considered in-office and not eligible for remote work.
