Position Overviewย 

As a Sales Associate at Newviews Agency, you will play a critical role in growing our client base by driving new business through outbound outreach, relationship-building, and consultative selling. This is a 100% commission-based role, ideal for highly motivated, entrepreneurial sales professionals who want to earn uncapped income and directly influence their career growth.

Sales Associates operate in a freelance/autonomous model while maintaining accountability through weekly reporting and collaboration with leadership and proposal teams.
Core Responsibilitiesย 

  • Conduct 20โ€“30 cold calls, networking touches, or outreach activities per week to generate new leads
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and move prospects to solutioning and proposal stages
  • Collaborate with leadership and proposal teams to build tailored service packages
  • Present proposals, close sales, and follow through to contract execution
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure a smooth client onboarding and handoff
  • Maintain accurate sales activity and revenue reports on a weekly basis
  • Attend sales trainings, industry workshops, and internal strategy meetings
  • Represent The Newviews Agency professionally at events, mixers, and industry gatherings
  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of our services, client industries, and buyer pain points

New York City Sales Specialist


Role Focus
Generates new business in the NYC metropolitan market, managing high deal velocity and competitive buyers while positioning Newviews as a premium creative partner.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Prospect startups, brands, agencies, and cultural institutions across NYC
  • Manage shorter sales cycles and multiple concurrent deals
  • Leverage digital outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, and warm introductions

Requirements

  • Must currently reside in New York City
  • 2+ years of successful sales experience in NYC or comparable metropolitan markets
  • Demonstrated ability to close in fastโ€‘paced, competitive environments
Performance Expectationsย 

  • Expected to close $350,000 in new revenue by December 31, 2026
  • Book of business may include one-time projects, monthly retainers, and upsells
  • Pipeline support provided, but associates are expected to independently prospect, qualify, and close deals consistently
Compensation:
One-Time Projects

  • Under $7,000 โ€” 8%
  • $7,000โ€“$15,000 โ€” 9%
  • $15,000+ โ€” 10%
  • Commission cap: $5,000 per project unless pre-approved
Retainer Contracts

  • Month-to-Month โ€” 10% (first month)
