Provide support as directed by designated supervisor.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Work under your supervisor to fulfill the duties given to you.
  • Work evenings and weekends as needed to fulfill your duties and responsibilities.
  • Complete required trainings as needed: SafeSport, Title IX, Clery Act, IT Security training, etc.
  • Manage and oversee staff as assigned.
  • Assign duties, create schedule, and ensure accountability to work completed.
  • Work Concessions dates during needed times throughout the year.
  • Remains abreast of existing and emerging technologies, processes, products, services and leading industry performance benchmarks.
  • Works effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU's mission
  • Work to enhance the Club Sports programs and uphold the mission and values of Club Sports
  • Work in office setting and outdoors.
  • Have a flexible attitude and work ethic in order to work as a team and individual

Qualifications and Credentials
Education and Experience
  • Four-year college degree, with a concentration in Business Development, Education, Sports Administration, 1 + years in a office environment functioning.
  • Accepted into, or currently enrolled in a Liberty master's program
  • Strong experience required in academic development with knowledge of a variety of sports teams functional requirements.
  • Well-developed communications skills both verbally and written.

The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position is a climate-controlled office setting. It is well lit, and the noise level is moderate. At times, outside duties lifting heavy items, 50+ lbs.., are needed in various temperatures. Team events will contain loud noises and crowds involvement.
Driving Requirements
If the employee is required to travel in performing the duties and responsibilities of the position, the use of one's personal vehicle (or LU vehicles) may be required for travel. Proof of a valid driver's license, an acceptable DMV record, LU Driving Approval, and liability insurance is required when driving in the performance of the employee's position.
