Job description

Overview

Lutron is seeking an experienced Forecast Analyst to join our Sales Operations Function located at our Global Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA.

In this role, you will support Lutron's sales organization by applying your keen financial acumen and proven system skills to track our sales forecast and analyze trends. Through your efforts, you will be leaned upon to deliver high value and quality insights to sales, operations, and business unit leadership that will help drive our sales efforts.  


Responsibilities
  • Analyze sales trends and adjust the SKU-level forecast in Lutron’s forecasting software. 
  • Forecast large projects globally. 
  • Meet regularly with Product Managers and Financial Analysts to discuss sales trends and product lifecycle management. 
  • Work with New Product Operations on new SKU additions and initial forecast/cannibalization projections. 
  • Collaborate with the Operations planning team on forecast adjustments. 
  • Build expertise in learning about sales patterns and recognizing trend shifts for the different Lutron products. 
  • Find ways to improve the forecast process and forecast accuracy. 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferred areas of study in Business, Data Analytics or Supply Chain
  • Minimum 3 years' work experience required, experience in business, data analytics, or supply chain preferred
  • Experience using Business Intelligence tools and data management software platforms (SAP, COGNOS, Salesforce, Microsoft PowerBI, etc.) preferred
  • Proven skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience presenting information to business leaders and executives
  • Must live within commutable distance to Coopersburg PA to accommodate in-office schedule
