Job description

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC has a potential need for a Trends Analyst to provide support for our government customer in Quantico, VA.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs operational analysis on all USMC unit after-action reports submitted to the Campaign of Learning Information System from CONUS and globally deployed forces.
  • Distills a large volume of unit data regarding operational issues and identifiestrendsaffecting unit capabilities and readiness.
  • Drafts comprehensive reports for the four MAGTF elements
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Data Analytics or related field. Education may be substituted with greater experience and/or certifications.
  • Derivative Classification, Power Automate or similar, Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • At least ten (10) years of experience in similar role providing analyst and analytics services in support of the US Military. Experience in and understanding of the Marine Corps is highly desired.
  • Experience conducting interviews and facilitating after-action reviews.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and military planning systems.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior military leaders and staff officers.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills with ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Experience with statistical, qualitative, and quantitative analytical methods, pattern recognition, data normalization and validation, and visualization and dashboarding.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Comprehensive understanding of MAGTF organization, functions, and operations.
  • Experience in multiple MAGTF staff sections highly desirable.
  • Expert knowledge of MAGTF processes and staff planning
  • Data Analytics certifications from Google, CompTIA, etc, Tableau Desktop Specialist, Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must have an active Secret clearance.
